Converge

Spring 2018 Session Starting on Wednesday, February 21st!

You weren’t created to do life alone, so you’re invited to Converge. Converge is all about helping you connect with God and others. Every Wednesday night people gather at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center for a time of worship that includes music and prayer.

Immediately following the worship time, we'll break out into Connect Groups. Connect Group offerings include "On Topic" groups that focus on taking a deeper look at the previous Sunday's message, and other groups designed to connect you with God and others while engaging other on topic discussions. A list of those offerings can be found below.

A Connect Group is a small group of people from all different backgrounds.  Connect groups provide a safe place to share your thoughts, questions, experiences, and doubts regarding your faith journey.  Connect Groups provide an environment where you can go deeper with the weekend message and discuss how you can actively apply it to your life, while growing relationships in the Crossroads family.

If you’ve been coming to Sunday worship and are wondering what your next step is, you’ve found it. We really believe that taking the step to join a Connect Group is a decision you’ll be glad you made.

Please feel free to contact Shawn, especially if you have questions.

CONNECT GROUPS:

What On Earth Am I Here For?  (Feb 21 - May 9)

Rick Warren offers guidelines that will focus your energy, simplify your decisions, give your life meaning, and prepare you for eternity.    Living out the purpose you were created for moves you beyond mere survival and success to a life of significance—the life you were meant to live.

Think Differently   (Feb 21 – May 2)

Why do we tend to hurt those we care for most? The reason is often the way we think. If you repeatedly find yourself in places where you don't want to be, it's your thinking that's leading you there. James MacDonald identifies strongholds, examines how they came to be, and offers believers a biblical path toward repentance and the renewing of their minds.

Faith and Foster Care  (Feb 21 – May 2)

Filled with personal stories and Scripture, Faith & Foster Care shows how you can practically and specifically live out your faith in foster care ministry. An encouraging resource for novice or experienced advocates and parents.

Growing Strong In God’s Family  (Feb 21 – May 2)

A classic discipleship course that covers the basics for new and seasoned believers. In this study based on Colossians 2:7, you'll learn about effectively memorizing Scripture, developing contacts with non-Christians, creating an evangelism list, practicing conversational prayer, and more.

Prayer  (Feb 21 – May 9)

Study over various prayers in the Bible.

Women’s Study: Hosea  (Feb 21 – April 4)

Hosea, an old-testament prophet, preached his own life message using his marriage as the sermon illustration. Be amazed by the love of Hosea for his wayward spouse—and more amazed by the unfailing love of God for His wayward people, and for all people. Hosea showers us with hope—hints and portents pointing to the coming of the promised Messiah.
